Womble Bond Dickinson has announced its latest round of senior promotions, effective 1 July 2026, recognising the talent and expertise of lawyers across the firm's UK offices and key practice areas.

The promotions span the firm’s real estate, corporate and commercial, private wealth and dispute resolution teams, with expertise across planning and infrastructure, transport, construction and engineering, pensions, and finance and investment.

New partners

Harriet Campbell

Harriet works in the Private Wealth team in Newcastle, within the firm's Private Capital practice. She leads the firm's probate team and advises individuals and trustees on all areas of private client law, including wills, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Advance Decisions, alongside related inheritance tax advice. Harriet takes a holistic and client-led approach, tailoring her advice to each client’s values, priorities and wider circumstances.

Stephen Dagg

Stephen works in the firm's Real Estate team in Newcastle, specialising in planning and infrastructure. He advises commercial and public sector clients on planning, highways and compulsory purchase matters, with a particular focus on major infrastructure projects. His experience includes Development Consent Orders and Transport and Works Act Orders, as well as transport, energy and manufacturing projects.

Todd Rayner

Todd advises clients across the Transport sector, with a strong focus on rail, as a member of the Corporate & Commercial team in Newcastle. Todd is particularly specialised in rolling stock-related contracts; supporting train operators, procuring authorities and manufacturers across the UK and internationally. His experience spans rolling stock procurement and leasing, maintenance and modification contracts; rail franchise and concession bids; transfer schemes; and broader commercial and operational matters.

Joanne Anderson

Joanne is part of the Real Estate Finance and Investment team in Newcastle, specialising in real estate finance. She advises UK financial institutions and borrowers on a broad range of transactions involving commercial, residential and mixed-use assets, including investment and development projects. Alongside her finance practice, Joanne advises clients on acquisitions, disposals and other commercial property matters, with particular experience in the leisure, education and social housing sectors.

Alice Causer

Alice works in the Private Wealth department in Newcastle, as a member of the firm's Agriculture, Farms and Estates team. She advises national charities, landed estates, trusts and private individuals on a wide range of rural property matters. Her work covers sales, acquisitions and lettings of agricultural land, landed estate management, commercial and residential lettings, and first registrations of land, mines and minerals and sporting rights.

Amy Hodge

Amy is part of the Construction team and is based in our Southampton office. Amy's practice focuses on non-contentious construction and engineering law matters. Amy advises a wide range of clients from the private and public sectors, including banks, developers, investors, local authorities, public bodies, landlords, tenants, contractors and consultants. Amy provides transactional construction legal advice to clients from the outset of a project, including providing construction procurement advice, through to the completion of the suite of construction contracts required to deliver a project.

Paul Rosenzweig

Paul is part of the Corporate and Commercial team in Newcastle, specialising in pensions. He advises employer and trustee clients on pension scheme matters including scheme mergers, benefit restructuring, liability management exercises, buy-ins and buy-outs. Paul also has experience supporting scheme documentation projects and corporate transactions.

The latest promotions follow another year of growth for WBD and underline the firm's continued focus on building specialist capability across the sectors and services most important to its clients.
