Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has helped to inform the UK's first Voluntary Local Review (VLR) of city-level progress towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

The VLR which is part of a new report from the University of Bristol, demonstrates Bristol’s leadership in tackling global challenges through local action. The report will be presented at the United Nations (UN) in New York next week, and features WBD's work in tackling food insecurities by launching a foodbank campaign, along with our award-winning apprenticeship scheme that aims to improve diversity in the workplace.

Asmah Baig, Responsible Business Manager, said:

"At WBD, we are determined to play a strong role in creating better places to live, work and do business. We believe that the global SDG's offer a valuable framework to manage change for a more sustainable future, especially goal 17 as working in partnership with like-minded businesses and organisations will achieve more meaningful and focused impact, not only in Bristol, but across the UK and the globe."
