Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has advised Puma Private Equity, part of independent investment group Shore Capital Group, on an equity investment into premium cycling brand Le Col.
The corporate team was led by Partner Leon Miller, Associate Alex Fergus and Solicitor Arturas Jakubovskis who advised on the transaction.
Headquartered in London, Le Col is a global company that designs, produces, distributes and sells cycling clothing to retailers, cycling clubs and direct to consumers in over 50 countries. The company was founded by Yanto Barker and recently signed global cycling and style icon, Sir Bradley Wiggins to become its lead brand ambassador and launch his own Le Col range. The investment from Puma will help accelerate the future growth of the business.
