Alex is a solicitor in the Corporate Finance team based in the Leeds office. He acts for companies across a number of sectors, with a particular focus on private equity transactions, and he deals with a wide range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and group reorganisations.

- Realise Training Group on its acquisition of Smart Gas Training & Assessment Centre Limited, a company specialising in air source heat pump, gas, plumbing and heating training
- The shareholders of Lomond Group, one of the UK's largest lettings and estate agent platforms, on the:
- Investment by global asset manager ICG
- Acquisition of Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, a London agency operating across more than 60 branches within the capital, including in many of the city's most densely populated borough
- Acquisition of Miles & Barr, the market leader agency in Kent with more than 2,400 properties under management and stretching across 13 towns in the county
- Acquisition of Chase Evans, an agency with more than 3,500 properties under management, which is based in key areas of London including Canary Wharf, Elephant and Castle, Docklands, and Greenwich
- Acquisition of Charters Estate Agents, an agency covering more than 2,800 properties across nine branches from Southampton to Farnham
- Private equity firm NorthEdge on the sale of Cutwel, the UK and Ireland’s market leader in specialist value-added cutting tool distribution to the SME precision engineering sector, to Inflexion Private Equity Partners
- Lloyds Development Capital on a number of investments, including its minority investment in student accommodation advertising platform UniHomes.
