International law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has advised ITV Studios Limited on the relocation of its award-winning daytime programmes, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women, to a new, cutting-edge studio in London's Covent Garden.
From January 2026, The H Club Studio will become the new home of ITV Studios’ Daytime label, producing and broadcasting close to 900 hours of live content annually. The move is set to enhance both the creative output and technical capabilities of ITV’s flagship shows, reaffirming the broadcaster’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
The newly developed studio will feature state-of-the-art technology, including a 360-degree set with advanced LED walls, enabling swift transitions between shows and optimising studio usage. A high-spec, remote gallery—provided by Gravity Media—will oversee the seamless production and broadcast of all three live programmes, as well as additional productions making use of the space outside Daytime transmission hours.
A multidisciplinary WBD team, led by Claire Wilkinson, Partner and Head of Retail and Hospitality, and supported by Catherine Hall, Joseph Dakkak, and Sophia Di Xiao, advised on all real estate aspects of the deal - including planning, construction, ancillary licences, and tax matters. WBD has been a trusted advisor to ITV on property matters since 2018, supporting several high-profile projects, such as the production base for reality show 'I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!'.
Claire Wilkinson commented:
“We are delighted to have supported ITV Studios in such a significant move and securing the perfect home for their iconic daytime programming. The H Club Studios represents a significant step forward in broadcast innovation and sustainability, and we are proud to continue our longstanding partnership with ITV on such landmark projects.”
