WBD has advised Grainger on the forward funding of a key build-to-rent development project at Sweet Street, Leeds which will be developed by Oakapple Group.
This 216 apartment build-to-rent project forms part of the Holbeck Urban Village which is a key area of the south bank regeneration initiative. The twelve storey development includes a range of contemporary one bed, two and three bedroom apartments which are being built specifically for the rental market, together with basement car parking and residents facilities.
Julia Dacre Field, Partner in the Real Estate team at WBD, led on the transaction which involved negotiation of the land and forward-funding development agreements. Her team advised Grainger on real estate; construction; planning; tax and property litigation matters.
