Womble Bond Dickinson has been recognised in the inaugural Social Mobility List 2024 for its leading recruitment practices and programs tackling social mobility issues. The List, in partnership with bp, highlights key contributors and initiatives driving social mobility in the UK.
A key resource for stakeholders across the social mobility ecosystem, from policymakers to business leaders, educational institutions, and the wider public, this year's List celebrates 56 different organisations across 12 categories as well as 18 individuals across a further three categories, and five charities leading the way in social mobility.
Womble Bond Dickinson was recognised for its Early Talent Recruitment program, which challenges barriers and biases for underrepresented backgrounds in the legal profession. The program assesses candidates based on potential and skills, rather than their academic or socio-economic background, as well as feedback, guidance and support for all candidates throughout the recruitment journey, to ensure they have a positive and fair experience, and t help them grow their confidence and abilities.
