International firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has once again been ranked among the top firms in the UK, appearing in the 2026 edition of The Times Best Law Firms list.
The survey recognises the most highly regarded law firms as recommended by legal professionals. Statista, an international market research firm, asked almost 4,000 solicitors and barristers in England, Wales and Scotland to recommend the best law firms in 28 categories covering business, public and private-client fields.
WBD is commended in two categories, charities and commercial property.
The Times highlights WBD's work on standout projects in the past year such as advising RWE Renewables on land and property agreements for the Vanguard West, Vanguard East and Boreas offshore wind farms in Norfolk, with combined construction costs exceeding £3 billion. The firm carried out negotiations with more than 100 landowners for the onshore cable route and related infrastructure.
Also highlighted was the firm's work advising Lloyds Development Capital on its investment into Connect Health, a provider of musculoskeletal and physiotherapy services, and on the sale of its stake in the property and letting business Lomond Group to the global asset manager ICG.
Womble Bond Dickinson advises businesses across twelve key sectors of expertise, with the firm's clients including over 40 FTSE 350 companies, many of the largest businesses in the country, private clients, charities, and UK Local and Central Government authorities.
