Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has been shortlisted in two categories at The British Legal Awards 2018. The firm is up for CSR/Diversity Initiative of the Year and Best Use of Technology.

The British Legal Awards (hosted by Legal Week) celebrate achievement, excellence and innovation in the legal profession, and the winners are decided by an independent judging panel of senior counsel, from companies including KPMG, BAE Systems, ITV, Heathrow, Facebook, ASOS and FBN Bank.

WBD has been recognised on the back of its successful Diversity and Inclusion programme where the firm launched the #BeYourself campaign and D&I Week 2.0 which followed up on the success of last year's D&I Week. The campaign focused on promoting D&I in the workplace and to encourage an open and transparent conversation for employees.

The firm has also been recognised for its use of technology for its creation of two new semi-autonomous case management systems, which dramatically streamline associated document production, act as great tools for quicker and more accurate reporting, and greatly improve efficiency for clients.

The winners will be announced at an awards dinner on Thursday 29 November at Finsbury Square, London.
