WBD celebrated its move to new larger offices on 19 September with over 200 clients and contacts.
The move to larger premises follows a period of growth, and a series of high level hires in Edinburgh, including Financial Services Partner and UK head Jonny Williams, Legal Director Caroline Stevenson (Financial Services), and Managing Associates Lisa Dromgoole (Construction) and Natasha Brownlee (Financial Services).
WBD is the first occupant of GSS Development's 2 Semple Street Grade A office in Edinburgh's Exchange District.
John Ralph, Partner and Head of Edinburgh, comments:
"We are delighted with the growth of our Scottish team, and with the high quality of our new recruits.
"The team is very much looking forward to working at our new location at 2 Semple Street. It offers a superb working environment both for them, and also for new arrivals as our growth continues in line with our ambitious targets for the next 18 months."
Caroline Stevenson, Legal Director in Banking and Financial Services, adds:
"It was great to see so many of our clients at our new office launch event. Our rapid growth has meant that we needed a new platform to continue to grow and to support our clients and our new offices offer that quality environment. We would like to thank our clients for their continued support and we look forward to welcoming new arrivals as part of our expansion and to hosting a number of sector events in the coming months."
The firm continues to build its presence in Scotland following the opening of its first Edinburgh office in 2017. WBD's Edinburgh team focuses on delivering legal services to clients in the firms key sectors, in particular Real Estate, Financial Institutions and Energy.
