    Our recruitment process

    We like our recruitment process to be more like a conversation than a form filling, box ticking exercise. We want to have an open and honest dialogue with like-minded individuals. To take the time to understand each other, identify opportunities and the ways in which we share the same approach and values. We need to get to know you and vice versa – it's not rocket science after all.

    You’ll usually have a two stage interview process, during which you’ll get to meet all the key people relating to the role. We want you to feel free to ask questions, too, so that you can make up your own mind. We can also give you an opportunity to meet peers in the same team or in other teams, to help you understand what it is really like to work here.

    In many cases, to support our recruitment decisions, we use additional assessment tools, such as work-based tests. These will be tailored and relevant to the position you have applied for and we’ll confirm all of this when we invite you for an interview, to make sure you are properly prepared.

    If you are looking to join us as a managing associate, we will work with you to produce a business case and you will have to meet with an Appointment Committee Panel as part of the process.

    We work hard to ensure that remuneration is competitive, and our approach to salary setting is consistent and fair.  We have yearly pay reviews, usually in November.
