We do that by sourcing and engaging with candidates directly wherever possible; as an in-house recruitment team we wouldn't be doing our jobs if that wasn't central to our recruitment strategy.

We do also recognise the need to collaborate with specialist recruitment agencies from time to time, particularly when we're under time pressure or when looking for the really niche skill-set that some of our teams require. To ensure the same level of candidate experience, we've selected a small number of recruiters to join our preferred supplier list and we've worked hard to develop those relationships so that these partners are able to work as an extension of our recruitment team.

We know you'll understand the commercial rationale for this and will respect the decision of our business. So we don't need to ask you not to send named CVs to us on a speculative basis, if you're not on that PSL, but if you do send them without our permission we reserve the right not to be bound by your terms and conditions. Our Partners, Lawyers and other busy professionals have important roles within the business and whilst attracting the right talent is high on their agenda, managing the recruitment process is not. That's why we have an experienced and dedicated in-house recruitment team so any introductions made outside of this team will not be deemed a valid introduction and we will not be bound by your terms and conditions.
