Trudy joined Womble Bond Dickinson in August 2017 and specialises in lease extensions and enfranchisement matters. In addition, Trudy advises on residential investment transactions and general property management matters for commercial landlords and tenants.

Prior to joining Womble Bond Dickinson, Trudy worked in the USA, Bermuda and the UK in contentious and non-contentious matters on behalf of developers, private individuals and public sector clients.


Examples of experience include advising on:

  • Enfranchisement and leasehold reform matters to the largest listed residential landlord in the UK
  • Lease extensions and enfranchisement claims which qualify under the Leasehold Reform Housing & Urban Development Act 1993 and under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967
  • Large-scale disposals where the provisions of the Landlord & Act 1987 and the potential pre-emption rights of tenants applied
  • Freehold block sales at auction or by way of private treaty sale.
