Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has been awarded the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) Platinum Employer Partner accreditation, the highest of three accreditation levels awarded under STEP's Employer Partnership Programme.

Achieving platinum accreditation is testament to the considerable investment WBD puts into creating a strong and continuous learning culture where everyone is encouraged to develop a rounded skill set and fulfil their potential. The strength of the firm's high quality training and career development for those working in their Private Wealth teams has been recognised by this STEP award. This includes support for those achieving individual STEP accreditation ensuring that skills are continually kept up to date and reflect best practice for the firm's Private Wealth clients.

James Radcliffe, private capital partner at WBD, who led the firm's bid for accreditation comments:

"Since joining Womble Bond Dickinson nine months ago, I have been impressed with how the firm's approach to learning and development contributes to a stimulating and rewarding work environment".

Krishna Anand, Head of Learning & Development at Womble Bond Dickinson, adds:

"This recognition from STEP validates the holistic approach we take to learning and development; recognising that all our people, whatever stage in their careers, need to have the rounded knowledge and skills, resilience and agility to perform at their best in a rapidly changing world."

Trent Weber on behalf of the STEP Employer Partnership team commended WBD on the excellent support and provision of learning and development opportunities for its STEP community. Commenting that:

"There is a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the organisation, Success is recognised and celebrated and there are ample resources tailored to individual needs to support career progression."
