Carbon capture, utilisation and storage: Government plans gather pace

In May 2021, the UK government issued a range of updates on its development of the UK carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) regime. With some tweaks to the previously-announced process, the government is pushing on with its selection of those industrial clusters that are the best prepared for CCUS networks in pursuit of its ambition to get at least two such clusters up and running by the mid-2020s.
