Maya is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney advising and supporting clients on a full range of trade mark issues, including filing applications, formulating and implementing brand development strategies as well as maintenance and enforcement of rights. Maya also has experience in advising on designs as well as running domain and company name disputes.
Maya has over six years of experience in the IP profession having qualified in 2018. She has significant experience in supporting brands in entertainment (TV, film and social media), professional services, retail, automotive and consumer products. Maya has helped a wide variety of clients including sole traders, SMEs, start-ups and large conglomerates.
As well as studying Law at Durham University, Maya completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law. Maya also completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice at Queen Mary University London and the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice at Nottingham Trent University.
