Joseph is a solicitor in the Commercial Disputes and Regulatory team.
For Commercial Disputes, Joseph mainly advises on breach of contract claims, with a particular focus in the financial services sector.
In his Regulatory work, Joseph provides compliance advice to a range of public and private sector clients in a range of criminal and regulatory matters and provides support with regulatory investigations, internal investigations and public inquiries.
Joseph regularly assists counsel in both civil and criminal courts, public inquires and inquest hearings. In addition, he has experience of advising clients at interviews under caution (both with the police and regulatory bodies) and in attending civil mediations.
Joseph's experience, working across a broad spectrum of commercial disputes, regulatory and criminal matters, makes him a well-rounded litigator.

- Advising a core participant in The Scottish Hospitals Inquiry
- Assisting a leading energy company subject to criminal proceedings in relation to a H&S incident
- Bringing and negotiating claims for a large financial advice group to recover indemnity commission
- Assisting in successful settlements of two multimillion pound disputes at mediation
- Advising a client subject to an injunction and subsequent High Court proceedings.
