Frances is a construction and engineering solicitor who focuses on dispute resolution. During her training contract, Frances gained transactional and contentious experience and completed two client secondments.
Frances has gained experience of medium and high value disputes under major standard form contract suites and has acted for a range of clients including local authorities, developers and contractors across a range of sectors.
Frances has experience of litigation in the UK Technology and Construction Court, adjudication and strategic dispute avoidance and settlement.

Examples of experience include advising:
- An international petrochemicals company pursuing outstanding monies owed under a series of engineering contracts under adjudication and then preparation for litigation in the UK Technology and Construction Court
- A national energy services provider, in relation to a multi party and cross jurisdictional litigation and settlement negotiations
- A local government authority: providing advice and assistance in connection with a construction dispute arising out of a contract for construction of public buildings.
