Ben specialises in all aspects of residential development and has experience procuring and disposing of schemes of all sizes. This includes drafting and negotiating turnkey, land and build and golden brick agreements along with associated infrastructure agreements.
He has a pragmatic and commercial approach, developed through both his time in private practice and spending three years working in-house at affordable housing provider, Rentplus.
Ben has significant experience working for registered providers (RPs) and other providers of affordable housing and also deals with matters for clients in the private rented sector (PRS), build to rent and general development sector.

Examples of experience include advising:
- Rentplus-UK Limited on the acquisition of units under Section 106 Agreements and via the open market. Completing all necessary due diligence for turnkey, land and build and golden brick contracts structures and whilst working for the company, reporting to key stakeholders and managing a team of internal employees and external consultants
- Wellcome Trust on disposals and acquisitions within their overall investment portfolio and negotiating, drafting and completing purchase and sale agreements
- National Housing Group and negotiating the terms of leases to be entered into as part of a wider portfolio
- Hearthstone on the acquisition of PRS units on a land and build basis
