Andrew is a solicitor in the Commercial Disputes and Regulatory team.
He provides regulatory compliance advice to leading brands on issues including health and safety, environmental, advertising and marketing, consumer protection and export controls.
Andrew also assists businesses that are under investigation or facing enforcement action by the HSE, Environment Agency, police or local authorities, in relation for example to fatal workplace incidents or environmental breaches.
Andrew is a member of the Health and Safety Lawyers Association. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Andrew worked as a journalist for 15 years.

- A global transport hub in relation to an inquest and civil proceedings, following a fatal accident on site
- Major brands in the drinks, manufacturing and defence sectors in relation to Health and Safety Executive investigations following deaths or serious injuries suffered by workers or contractors on site
- An airline with regards preventing the publication of a defamatory news article
- A national retailer with regards a formal Environment Agency investigation and potential product recall relating to the chemical composition of certain products
- A waste and recycling company with regards an asbestos-related incident
- A local authority in removing a stay to a Compulsory Purchase Order
- Major brands across the retail, energy and logistics sectors with regards the compliance of marketing campaigns with advertising, pricing and consumer protection rules. This includes advising on making environmental claims and the risk of 'greenwashing
- Brands across numerous sectors on a variety of product compliance and enforcement issues, for example relating to labelling, UKCA marking, trade sanctions and chemicals
- A Health Care Trust in relation to Court of Protection matters regarding deprivation of liberty safeguards.
