Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has been shortlisted for Business Services Team of the Year at The Lawyer 2019 Awards.

The firm was recognised for its Business Development led Brexit campaign and particularly the launch of a Brexit hub, which brings together a wealth of thought leadership content in an engaging and dynamic digital format. The hub includes a Brexit interactive timeline that allows access to tailored content, infographics, videos and relevant third party information. Thought leadership articles the firm has produced over the last 12-18 months is also collated in one place for clients on a range of topics affected by Brexit.

David Craigen, Business Development Director at WBD, commented:

"Feedback from clients was that although they were being bombarded by Brexit 'news', there was very little practical information to help them inform their business decisions. In order to fill this gap, our team wanted to create an engaging Brexit platform designed specifically with clients and prospects in mind, that draws content together in one place, to enhance understanding of how exiting the EU will affect their businesses in uncertain times. Very few professional advisors are producing this kind of specific content around Brexit and so we're delighted to have our hub recognised by The Lawyer Awards."

The Lawyer Awards recognise the firms that demonstrated excellence in their work over the past year, and that have truly set themselves apart from the rest of the legal industry. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday 25 June at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in London.
