Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has advised Hearthstone Investment Management on its acquisition of build-to-rent homes for in excess of £9m with a national house builder.
The homes are a combination of houses and low-rise apartments acquired from house builders in suburban locations.
The deal includes 52 properties across six estates in the North Yorkshire and Manchester regions.
The Property team at WBD who advised on the deal include partner Tom Willows; associates Dale Armstrong and Philip Kay; and solicitors Sarah Robe and Stephanie Mallery. The team was assisted by planning associates Kate Ashworth and Rachel Sykes and solicitor Frances Everett.
Tom Willows, commented:
"We are delighted that we are able to continue supporting Hearthstone Investment Management on their PRS housing investments with a further bulk transaction this year which included a range of houses and apartments across the country. We were particularly pleased to be able to be able to move quickly, given recent working restrictions and to be able to conclude within a short time frame in line with Hearthstone Investment Management's requirements."
