Chris Kim’s extensive patent law experience includes working as an in-house patent attorney for Fortune 500 companies as well as a former primary examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.   

Chris handles U.S. and international patent preparation and prosecution matters involving complex technologies in wireless communications, including 5G wireless communications, cellular wireless communications, Wi-Fi and security technologies, specifically encryption, authentication, cryptography, biometrics, software and hardware security, security protocol and network security.   He also has patent experience related to e-commerce, the internet and disk drive technologies including digital signal processing and mechanical components such as spindle motors, head stack assemblies, air filters and latch assemblies. 

As part of his intellectual property practice, Chris also provides IP litigation support and licensing support to the firm’s clients.
