Matthew Hooker focuses his practice on business litigation. He has experience drafting briefs for federal and state court at both the trial and appellate levels and has participated in the successful defence of several high-profile litigation matters. Matthew has also argued before the North Carolina Court of Appeals with the Wake Forest Appellate Advocacy Clinic.

Prior to joining the firm, Matthew served as a law clerk to the Honourable Adam M. Conrad at the North Carolina Business Court in Charlotte, NC. In this role, he managed half of Judge Conrad’s docket, performed legal research, as well as drafted and edited published opinions, orders of significance, and other routine orders.
