Leonie joined the real estate group in April 2021 as a newly-qualified solicitor, having completed her training contract with the firm. She joined WBD with two prior years of property experience as a paralegal.
Leonie advises property investor and developer clients on matters to do with the acquisition, development and disposal of assets, including shopping centres, industrial sites and land intended for residential development. Leonie also has experience in asset management work including leases, licences, assignments, underlettings and variations.
Leonie is a member of both the Southampton Property Association and the South Hampshire Junior Lawyers Division.

- A local authority on the suitability of land for residential development
- Investor clients on a range of asset management and related transactions, including the acquisition of a retail park and new/renewal leases
- As a core part of the team advising a real estate private equity fund on the sale of a shopping centre
- A developer on the acquisition of a city centre site for residential (and ancillary retail) development.
