Edward is a senior associate in the firm's risk and best practice team.
He qualified as a solicitor in 2001, having completed a training contract with the firm. He then spent seven years in the firm's insurance sector, specialising in professional negligence work, primarily defending solicitors, accountants and surveyors. Edward also undertook commercial litigation work for asset finance companies.
Edward then spent two years at a local authority, dealing with a wide range of legal work including licensing, planning, data protection/ freedom of information, environmental, criminal prosecution and civil litigation before returning to the firm in 2010.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Edward spent 11 years working for Nationwide Building Society, initially as a branch manager and then as a business finance manager in the commercial lending division.
