Claire has specialised in employment law since 2004. She qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2007 and then as a solicitor in October 2011.
Claire has a particular interest in discrimination law but advises employers on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters including performance management, absence management, whistleblowing, defending tribunal claims, redundancy procedures, settlement agreements, contract variations and policy issues. Claire also advises on Corporate Immigration.
She has provided training to managers on conducting grievance and disciplinary procedures and presents on a variety of employment related topics at client seminars.
Claire is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association.

- Conducting advocacy and successfully defended employment tribunal claims for national retailers and education sector clients
- Advising employers on a variety of employment issues including performance management, conducting grievance and disciplinary procedures, absence management, discrimination issues, whistleblowing, restructuring, redundancy procedures and policy issues

- Preparing and advising on settlement agreements.
