Womble Bond Dickinson has been shortlisted for two awards at the Legal 500 ESG Awards.
The awards recognise ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives in the UK legal market and acknowledge organisations and individuals for their efforts in various areas of ESG, including diversity and inclusion, as well as environmental and sustainability strategies.
Womble Bond Dickinson is shortlisted in the Disability/Neurodiversity: Best Initiative to Attract and Retain Talent and Women in Law: Best Initiative to Improve Female Representation within Senior Ranks categories.
This year's nominations follow last year's success when Womble Bond Dickinson had two winners at the inaugural Legal 500 ESG Awards. WBD's winners were Partner Jon Bower, who won 'Environmental/Sustainability: Private Practice Champion', and Senior Responsible Business Manager Charlotte von Sicard, who was named 'ESG Rising Star of the Year', which recognises individuals in the industry who are contributing across various areas of ESG.
In January, WBD was shortlisted for the Diversity and Inclusion Award at the LexisNexis Legal Awards 2025, and the firm's ethnicity network, WBD Reach (race, ethnicity and cultural heritage), was nominated in the Outstanding Ethnicity Network of the Year category at the British Diversity Awards.
The Legal 500 ESG Awards ceremony takes place on 25 March in London.
