Run in many regions across the UK, the Venus Awards celebrate the vital contribution that women in business make to the local, regional, and national economy. The award ceremony for Devon and Cornwall will take place on 27th April at the Crowne Plaza in Plymouth.
"Thank you to the Venus Awards team for this award nomination, which is a recognition of the great work put in by the whole Construction and Engineering team at Womble Bond Dickinson.
"There is a clear underrepresentation of women in property and construction but the Venus Awards present the perfect opportunity to highlight the positive impact so many women have on the industry. As a firm, Womble Bond Dickinson is also involved in range of groups and organisations aiming to redress the imbalance, including Women in Property and the National Association of Women in Construction."
Womble Bond Dickinson's Construction and Engineering team is one of the largest in the UK. Led by Partner Simon Lewis, the team has a strong track record in both transactional and dispute resolution work, delivering practical solutions to complex problems and handling a broad range of disputes across a wide variety of commercial sectors for a range of clients including insurers, contractors, government bodies and developers through to investors, employers and architects.
