Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has advised the Enact Fund and the management team on the sale of Redhall Network Solutions to WHP Telecoms Limited.

Redhall Network Solutions is a leading service provider to the mobile telecommunications and broadcast sectors providing service, maintenance and upgrade capabilities to the mobile phone infrastructure, in addition to the commissioning and integration of 2, 3, 4 and 5G networks. The acquisition provides WHP Telecoms with the opportunity to in-source market leading maintenance and update capabilities, further strengthening its position in the sector.

The WBD team advising on the transaction was led by legal director James Cook, who was supported by partner Simon Pilling and solicitor Jack Irwin. The firm has a longstanding relationship with the Enact Fund, having acted on its original investment in Redhall Network Solutions in 2019 and most recently on the acquisition of an award winning post production house business, saving over 100 jobs.

James Cook of WBD commented:

"Following its investment in Redhall Network Solutions in 2019, it has been a pleasure working once again with Enact and Gavin and Simon Rabbitt on the sale Redhall Network Solutions and to secure the best possible outcome and a smooth completion for all parties. It is always satisfying to assist a business through the lifetime of an investment and to see it through to a successful exit."

Chris Cormack, the partner leading the Enact fund, added:

"We're grateful to James and the whole WBD team for their continued support and the pragmatic and commercial legal advice that we receive from them."
