Bond Dickinson's Bristol office has been shortlisted for two awards at the 2017 Bristol Law Society Awards including Law Firm of the Year and CSR Firm of the Year.

The awards celebrate the best of Bristol's legal talent, recognising firms and professionals in the city. With more than 20 firms and organisations shortlisted across 12 categories, the award ceremony will take place on 19 October at the Bristol Marriott Hotel City Centre.

Bond Dickinson was shortlisted on the back of its strong legal credentials, acting for numerous Bristol-based institutional, SME and individual clients both in the public, private and charity sectors. Of particular significance is the firm's imminent combination with US law firm Womble Carlyle. The new combined firm, Womble Bond Dickinson, will have more than 420 partners and 1,000 lawyers across 24 cities in the USA and the UK.

Bond Dickinson was also praised for of its successful Corporate Social Responsibility programme, building meaningful and sustainable relationships with regional not-for-profit organisations and supporting community projects and charities through fundraising, volunteering and mentoring.
