Examples of experience include:

  • Energy suppliers – assisting with advice on the acquisition of the customer book of an insolvent energy supplier following a SOLR process, proving as an unsecured creditor in the administration of an insolvent energy supplier and seeking directions on the application of key legislation governing energy companies and their recent slew of insolvencies.
     
  • Winding-up companies on grounds of public interest on behalf of the Secretary of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, including companies involved in investments scams in relation to the sale of land and COVID-19 business support payments.
     
  • Acting for liquidators of companies involved in the real estate industry industry, bringing claims against their directors and third parties relating to for illegal dividends, transactions at an undervalue and preferences.
