Natalie Armstrong is a patent agent in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Prior to beginning her career as a patent agent, she served as an Affiliate Professor in the field of physics at Grand Valley State University. Combining her experience in patent law with a background in physics and mathematics, Natalie possesses the technical knowledge to understand complex inventions. Leaning on her experience as a teacher, Natalie enjoys discussing the patent process with newcomers to the process as well as seasoned veterans. She regularly works closely with inventors and in-house counsel to ensure value of the claims. Natalie is also mindful of global filing strategies when drafting applications and prosecuting claims.
