For more than 25 years, Missie has utilized her extensive knowledge in expert witness research and managing of records and physical evidence to support Firm clients. As Medical and Scientific Solution’s Manager of Expert and Litigation Services, she understands the complexities of identifying, vetting, and maintaining expert witnesses across many areas of expertise worldwide. Her team is responsible for the vetting of over 25,000 experts over more than 30 years. In addition, her extensive knowledge of record collection, physical evidence collection, and the maintenance, preservation, and chain of custody practices enables her to guide law firms throughout the US on complicated HIPAA compliance issues, as well as help them draft collection sharing agreements and pleadings in disputes with adverse counsel. Her team has managed the collection and maintenance of millions of pages of medical, military, employment, insurance, criminal, and government records, as well as the collection, protection, and dissemination of physical evidence.

Missie works closely with attorneys and nurse consultants, as well as research and paralegal teams to prepare work products for the medical defense of cases filed against industries such as pharmaceutical, tobacco, and automotive. Missie thoroughly understands the processes involved in developing a medical defense and arming the trial team with the work product they need to defend the client successfully.
