Matt is a trainee solicitor, currently sat in the Planning & Infrastructure team. 

Previously, he worked as an associate paralegal at WBD within the Litigation Services and Commercial Projects team in the Legal Solutions Centre. He also has experience working in data protection law, particularly with reviewing and redacting documents as part of Data Subject Access Requests.

Experience

Examples of Matt's experience includes:
  • Providing various services to Employment lawyers, such as: producing and modifying Employment Tribunal Bundles; proposing redactions to personal data; and drafting Employment Tribunal Pleading documents
  • Supervising work completed by less experienced paralegals and also has managed some large-scale projects, such as Disclosures and Data Subject Access Requests
  • Working with legal technology and assisting the firm with the roll-out and implementation of document automation software, document review software and bundling software
  • Assisting with triaging helpline queries on behalf of an insurer providing legal advice to its 18,000 policyholders using collaboration software
  • Assisting with reviewing and interpreting new legislation in relation to environment law, director's duties and Brexit. Following this, Matt has provided condensed summaries of the new law, ready to be viewed by our clients
  • Working with some of our clients directly, most notably within the public services sector and the transport sector.
