Makala McNeil focuses her practice on government and congressional investigations, complex commercial litigation, and antitrust and competition matters. She has represented companies and senior executives in high-stakes government and congressional investigations, including preparing witnesses for congressional hearings and testimony, responding to government inquiries, and managing complex investigative and enforcement matters. Her experience also includes multidistrict litigation, commercial disputes, and antitrust defense matters, as well as advising private equity sponsors and strategic buyers on antitrust risk and clearance for multibillion-dollar M&A transactions. She has represented clients across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, government contracts, technology, and consumer goods, and has experience managing all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigations through discovery, motion practice, and arbitration.

While in law school, Makala served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
