Lenny has been working in construction law since 2015 and joined the Construction and Energy team at Womble Bond Dickinson in February 2021. Her background covers both transactional and contentious construction law giving her experience working with clients for the life cycle of a project.
As part of the transactional team in our Southampton office, her day to day work progresses contracts from draft to completion, including due diligence, reviewing, drafting, and advising on a variety of construction contracts, including bespoke appointments, third party rights, collateral warranties, deeds of novation, and letters of intent, as well as JCT, NEC and FIDIC standard forms. Lenny has particular experience dealing with high volume document due diligence.
Lenny's contentious experience includes preparation of dispute resolution documents for arbitrations, adjudications and legal proceedings.
Lenny is an associate member of CILEx, and is studying to become a Chartered Legal Executive.

- The Church Commissioners assisting on construction contracts for on-going works at Lambeth Palace, including Deeds of Variation to consultant appointments
- Halifax Pension Nominees Limited both sale and acquisition matters by the HBOS Pension Scheme, and construction agreements required for works carried out at properties owned by HPNL. Advice includes advising in relation to formalities for legal assignment, preparing Deeds of Assignment and issuing notices of assignment as necessary
- Southern Co-Operative - Cobra Coffee advice in relation to the exciting expansion of Southern Co-Operative's Cobra Coffee arm. Advice covers both the acquisition of existing shops and construction of new shops
- South Bank Quay experience in the various aspects of works under NEC suite of contracts
- B&Q Limited reviewing and advising on Agreements for Lease in relation to new properties as well as building contracts and ancillary construction contracts benefitting our client.
- High volume due diligence particular experience project managing and reporting on high volume document heavy transactional due diligence, working with colleagues cross-firm
- Banking Security due diligence on construction contracts for banks providing security to commercial customers, providing Client Reports as required
- A range of developers and funders in relation to multi million pound commercial developments, including refurbishments and town centre redevelopments. Drafting and negotiating a number of ancillary construction contracts including letters of intent, framework agreements, consultants' appointments, novations, collateral warranties, and third party rights
- Cladding remediation working with tenants, and Funder.
