Kate Johnson is a member of the firm’s Patent Prosecution & Litigation group where she helps clients protect their intellectual property rights. Kate assists clients with patent and trademark litigation so she can protect inventions and brands, often the core of a client's business. She has experience with the PTAB, the TTAB, and various District Courts around the nation.

Kate is a co-author of WBD’s Georgia IP Litigation Blog. The blog tracks developments in intellectual property litigation matters in the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia. She serves on Womble's Associate Advisory Committee and takes an active role in the development of summer associates and legal interns.

Before becoming a lawyer, Kate owned an American barbecue restaurant in Zhengzhou, China, and worked in consulting, where she focused on Sino-Western business relationships and challenges.
