Anna specialises in employment law and advises both private and public sector clients on a full range of employment issues including advising on unfair dismissal, disciplinary and grievance issues, and drafting and negotiating contracts of employment and settlement agreements. Anna also offers support in corporate transactions, including undertaking due diligence from an employment perspective.

Anna also has experience of preparing employment tribunal cases for hearing, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment and whistleblowing.

As part of her training, Anna was seconded to AIG to work within their in-house legal team, which involved advising on a broad range of legal issues. 

Anna is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Examples of experience include advising:
  • Preparing a complex and high-value employment tribunal case for unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment and equal pay, which involved conducting a large disclosure exercise and preparing comprehensive witness statements
  • Representing a national media company in an employment tribunal claim for unfair dismissal 
  • Advising a manufacturing client in relation to changes to employees terms and conditions and related unfair dismissal issues
  • Providing day to day employment support to various clients via helpline arrangements which involves advising on a wide range of HR matters such as policies and procedures, managing sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance procedures and dismissal issues.
