Examples of experience include: 

• Acting for a large national retail client drafting suite of precedent documents and preparing JCT building contracts, contractor and consultant framework agreements, consultant appointments and ancillary documents for the refurbishment and new development of stores and distribution centres across the UK
• South Tees Development Corporation in relation to working alongside Faithful & Gould to provide support for completing contracts and reporting on the security available under those contracts as part of the procurement of the enabling works and site preparatory works at the Teesworks development. The construction packages were based on various contract forms including bespoke contracts and NEC forms. Also advising South Tees Development Corporation in relation to the Appointments of various consultants with respect to technical and project management services
• Department for Education as legal advisor to the Commercial & Technical Teams relating to contracts procured on the Priority Schools framework, Modern Methods of Construction Framework and Free Schools Programme and Schools Replacement Programme
• Northern Powergrid advising on and drafting framework contracts, JCT contracts and other related construction documents. Also drafting precedent documents to be used across the business to ensure consistency with corporate policies and procedures
• Newcastle University advice and drafting construction documents for refurbishment works to various buildings (including listed buildings) on their campus
• Newcastle City Council advice and drafting construction documents on various refurbishment projects at schools and the Grade II listed Civic Centre
• Sunderland City Council advice and drafting construction documents on a refurbishment project at Sunderland City Hall.
• National Highways in relation to reviewing the construction documents and security packages linked to various Section 38 agreements the client enters into.
