Andie Anderson assists clients in defending and building intellectual property portfolios across various technical sectors, including medical diagnostics, materials sciences, electronic display systems, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. Andie has litigated in all intellectual property dispute forums, including arguing before the International Trade Commission and the United States Patent Trials and Appeals Board. Andie has experience managing all aspects of intellectual property litigation, from responding to pre-suit demand letters and drafting pleadings to formulating technical strategies, preparing invalidity and infringement contentions, handling discovery, collaborating with experts, preparing witnesses, and arguing cases at trials and hearings. Additionally, her experience includes drafting technology licenses, freedom to operate analses, and invention assignment contracts. She also performs due diligence for acquisitions and asset purchase agreements, and advises clients on pending litgiation and intellectual property agreements in disclosures.
Prior to beginning her legal career, Andie had a successful career in the non-profit domain as an advocate for STEM education reform. During her career in STEM education reform, Andie worked with school districts, states, and national education departments to reassess learning and teaching for pre-school through adult learners. As a former high school teacher, Andie taught Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Environmental Science, Astronomy, and Physics.
