Michele Glessner focuses on trademark and copyright portfolio management, advising clients on global filing strategies, enforcement, and brand protection.

A registered patent attorney before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Michele counsels on patent matters including utility and design patent prosecution, freedom-to-practice analyses, and portfolio management, particularly in the mechanical and electromechanical arts. Drawing on her background in mechanical engineering, she works closely with innovators to translate complex technologies into strategic intellectual property protection. Her patent experience includes fiber optics and optoelectronic systems, wireless telecommunications, digital programming services and user interfaces, biomedical devices, and consumer packaging.

Michele represents domestic and international clients in developing, managing, and enforcing trademark portfolios worldwide. She has extensive experience prosecuting U.S. applications and managing the prosecution of foreign trademark applications, conducting clearance reviews, and leading enforcement efforts across industries such as retail, financial services, apparel, footwear, home products, packaging, agrochemicals, cosmetics, and food services.

Fluent in Egyptian Arabic with a foundation in classical Arabic and proficient in French, Michele brings linguistic and cultural insight to complex cross-border IP matters.
