Jennifer Alley is an accomplished intellectual property attorney with extensive experience advising clients on the protection, management, and enforcement of brand assets. Her practice encompasses trademarks, copyrights, trade dress, domain name strategy, marketing and advertising compliance, and global brand protection. She counsels clients on all aspects of brand lifecycle management, including clearance, prosecution, maintenance, enforcement, licensing, and strategic portfolio development.
Jennifer has represented clients in trademark infringement and unfair competition litigation, managing all phases of pleadings, discovery, and motion practice. She also has significant experience initiating and defending Opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Her transactional work includes drafting, reviewing, and/or negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including global supply, sponsorship, private labeling, co branding, coexistence, consent, licensing, and marketing agreements.
Prior to re-entering private practice, Jennifer served as in-house intellectual property counsel for several global multibillion dollar companies operating across Automation, Robotics, Electrification, Digital, Consumer, and Pharmaceutical sectors. In these roles, she managed worldwide brand portfolios and collaborated closely with business and legal stakeholders on matters involving product launches, copyright procurement and compliance, AI-related initiatives, domain management, trade dress protection, marketing and advertising compliance, privacy considerations, manufacturing and distribution, and various corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Jennifer’s in-house tenure provided her with a deep understanding of business operations and the practical considerations that drive decision making. This experience enables her to deliver efficient, solution oriented counsel that aligns legal strategy with business objectives and supports long term brand value.
Before beginning her legal career, Jennifer worked as a manufacturing engineer for a global Tier 1 automotive supplier and a leading electronics manufacturing services provider, giving her a strong technical foundation that enhances her work with complex products and industries.
