International law firm Womble Bond Dickinson has strengthened its UK-wide real estate practice with the appointment of new partner Bela Zavery who joins the firm's London office.

Bela has been advising clients for over 20 years on complex, high value, property development matters and inward investment with a particular focus on residential led development. Bela is a Build to Rent (BTR) specialist with a first-rate track record and will add significant capabilities and expertise to our national BTR team.

Bela joins Womble Bond Dickinson's real estate team which operates across eight UK offices and 23 US offices. The firm's Living sector client portfolio includes the likes of Grainger, Hearthstone, Homes England, Vistry Group, Persimmon and Places for People.

Jonathan Blair, Partner and Head of London office at Womble Bond Dickinson, comments:

"Real Estate is one of our key growth areas in London, and Bela's significant experience in residential-led development work, together with her particular strengths in the build to rent sector, brings further capability to our London team and we're thrilled to welcome her to the firm and to the partnership."

Bela adds:

"Womble Bond Dickinson has a very strong real estate practice and impressive national capabilities. With mandates coming from both the private and public sectors, the firm advises on large-scale development projects, and I am really excited about the opportunities these present. I am looking forward to working with my team and my clients here in London and across the UK."

Bela is the latest partner to join Womble Bond Dickinson's growing London office after the firm welcomed last February new partners Rebecca Ferguson and Carl Powlson in the corporate team.
