Alexander Dickinson, a partner at law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD), has been recognised in the 2021 eprivateclient 50 Most Influential list published this week (1 February).
The list compiles the 50 key players operating in the UK and offshore private client practitioner sector. Individuals ranked were cherry-picked by a professional judging panel for their professional advice, talent and breadth of skills demonstrated to clients across the world from UK.
Alexander Dickinson has been a partner in WBD's high-net-worth client team since 1997 and is the lead partner for many of the firm’s largest clients. Since 2012 he has spearheaded the firm’s private client offering in London and across the South East, which he has expanded in the past year with a number of significant client wins and the recruitment of another London partner, Will Ford, who joined in May 2020.
Alexander specialises in advising UK based clients, particularly those with real estate assets, and also has expertise in the areas of personal tax, wills and trusts. He regularly chairs private family offices and acts as trustee of private and charitable trusts.
Alexander commented:
"I am thrilled to be featured in this year's eprivateclient 50 Most Influential list. This recognition is a tribute to our excellent team of lawyers and wealth advisors, working with me to advise and guide our clients through a range of complex domestic and international matters."
WBD's private client team was ranked highly in the Chambers and Partners High Net Worth guide, which focuses specifically on the international private wealth market and covers private wealth management work and related specialisms in key jurisdictions around the world. In the latest edition, the guide highlighted WBD as "the go-to firm" in the North East and Yorkshire; "one of the best private client teams in the West" for high-end private client work; and in London for "handling complicated cases with ease". Clients also praised the firm for delivering "absolutely first-class advice on a wide range of issues".
Last year, fellow private client partner Neil Long, was also featured in the prestigious Citywealth TOP 100 Trust Litigators List 2020, a guide which recognises individuals who have excelled in litigation and showed great skill in lateral thinking and in negotiating with opponents.
