Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has welcomed its 2018 trainee intake with 26 first year trainee solicitors joining the firm's UK offices.

The trainees will have the opportunity to work across the firm's eleven key sectors of expertise, supporting the Corporate & Commercial, Dispute Resolution, Real Estate and Private Wealth teams.

Jonathan Blair, UK Managing Partner, said:

"Our people are at the very heart of what we do and we are delighted to welcome our new trainees to the firm. They play a crucial part in our pipeline of future fee earners and to the growth and success of the firm.

Our training programme is one of the best in the country, offering many opportunities for new talent to develop; and providing the essential skills, expertise and commercial acumen to pursue a successful career in law."

Last year, WBD was named as a top graduate employer, ranking 161 in the 2017 Guardian UK 300 list. Over 60 law firms were ranked and WBD featured amongst the top 20. The annual list is made up following the votes from over 60,000 students and recognise the best employers in the UK for people seeking graduate jobs.
