The Building Safety Bill proposes new safety legislation in response to the Grenfell disaster. It was laid before Parliament on 5 July 2021, and is likely to pass into law 9-12 months from this date, followed by a 2-3 year transition period.

It includes some of the biggest changes seen in the construction sector for decades - but what will it mean for different parts of the industry?

In this webinar, our industry leaders will look at the Bill and its impacts from a number of different perspectives, to give you a full and informed picture of its effects, providing deeper insight into what it will mean for you and other industry specialists that you work with.

Martin Taylor, Executive Director, Local Authority Building Control will chair the discussion and will be joined by:

  • Rob Charlton, CEO, Space Group
  • John Blackledge, Director of Health and Safety, Grainger plc
  • Charissa Shears, Legal Director, Bouygues UK
  • Simon Lewis, Partner, Construction and Engineering team, Womble Bond Dickinson
