Sian specialises in all aspects of business debt recovery, civil litigation and insolvency claims advising unsecured and secured creditors, lenders and Insolvency Practitioners on recovery and enforcement. She is a licensed insolvency practitioner herself (non-appointment taking) so understands well the procedures and challenges that creditors can face in recovering assets and debts from companies and sole traders.
She has significant experience in advising secured lenders on all aspects of possession and receivership and providing support to receivers on their appointments, duties and any contentious matters that arise during the course of the receivership. Sian is a member of NARA (the Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers).
Sian leads the Recovery+ team, part of WBD Advance which consists of a team of over 70 paralegals and legal executives, embedded solicitors, project managers, data analysts and client co-ordinators. This structure enables clients to rely on flexible resourcing to deliver high-quality and a cost effective service for volume instructions. Clients appreciate the breadth of experience across the team that focuses on commercial solutions to obtain repayments and settlements from debtors keeping recoveries high and costs low.
