Ryan Ellard is an experienced business litigation attorney who guides clients through commercial litigation, including construction disputes.

His practice includes litigating construction defect, warranty, payment, and delay claims; breach of contract and unfair trade practices actions; product liability, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and wrongful death cases; insurance coverage and bad faith litigation; enforcement of foreign judgments; and variety of other civil matters.  With special attention to each client’s specific goals, he offers counsel as to the broad statutory and common law principles that govern South Carolina law as well as more technical issues, rooted in procedure and evidence.   

His experience includes handling civil matters from the case’s inception, including all facets of pleadings and written discovery, fact and expert depositions, Summary Judgment, trial motions, and evidentiary issues. He regularly appears in both state and federal court to participate in conferences and oral arguments.
