Ryan D. Ellard is an experienced attorney who guides clients through complex business decisions and all phases of commercial litigation. He litigates real estate matters, including commercial lease disputes, quiet title actions, and partition matters, and regularly represents property owners’ associations and management firms. He also handles breach of contract matters and a variety of other business disputes, intellectual property actions, and cybersecurity litigation. Ryan regularly appears and represents his client’s interests in South Carolina state and federal courts.
Ryan devotes significant time to local pro bono efforts in the Charleston community, regularly appearing as a volunteer attorney in Housing Court Sessions to represent low-income tenants facing eviction. He has tried and prevailed in several cases on the merits.
