Nathan Sanders is an experienced civil litigator and appellate lawyer who has represented clients in state and federal courts around the country in complex business, employment, toxic tort, and False Claims Act cases. He has successfully briefed and argued motions and appeals in dozens of cases and played a leading role in all other aspects of civil litigation. He has been recognized for excellence in commercial and appellate litigation and currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Nashville Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Section.
Nathan earned his J.D. and graduated Order of the Coif from Vanderbilt University Law School. After law school, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Karen LeCraft Henderson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
Nathan is committed to pro bono service and has been recognized multiple times by the Tennessee Supreme Court as an Attorney for Justice. A Nashville native, he is actively involved in the local community and the Nashville Bar Association.

- Successfully briefed and argued appeals in state and federal appellate courts on behalf of a diverse array of clients.
- Represented relators and defendants in lawsuits and investigations alleging violations of the False Claims Act, 31 U.S.C. § 3729, et seq., including representation of relator in qui tam action resulting in $63.5 million settlement for the Government.
- Second chaired jury trial on federal retaliation claim that resulted in seven-figure judgment for the firm’s client.
- Provided pro bono legal representation in immigration, housing, family law, and resentencing proceedings.
